a case study

I spotted this beauty by Mistylynn of Li'l Buck's Creation blog fame the other day and marked her blog post as unread so I'd remember to CASE the card later this weekend. Well, today was the day! I punched a whole lotta hearts last night but grabbed the latest addition to my embossing folders earlier today to make the front panel. I stamped the sentiment on a separate piece of white card stock, then cut it out and made a banner cut on the end.

tips: Want a quick tip to perfect v-cuts on banners? Just pull out one of your square punches! And, if you're cutting a rounded piece from the end, either use a circle punch or cut one side, then take the piece you cut away and place it over the opposite side, trace, and cut that edge away!

stamps: Waltzing Mouse Stamps' sweetheart; paper: Recollections' red holographic, SU's Whisper White card stocks; ink: Ranger's black soot distress ink; tools: Cuttlebug w Provo Craft's Floral Fantasy embossing folder
