FYI, I just learned from Linda at just-a-scrappin of the Michaels Scrapbooking/Paper Crafts Sweepstakes. Apparently the kind folkes at Michael's and CreatingKeepsakes.com have joined forces, holding a monthly contest running from May-Dec 2008. The grand prize is $100 and they're also awarding ten prizes of $20 each month. To enter, submit your creative ideas (scrapbook pages, cards, decorations, home dec and gift ideas) on the Michaels group (to date, 34 members strong ... let's join 'em, eh?!) on CreatingKeepsakes.com, a community for scrapbookers and papercrafters.
The remaining monthly themes are: November – Thanksgiving, and December – Winter & Winter Holidays. Hey, better late than never, right?!
