Friday was National Wear Red Day, to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke. The university I work at particpated and many of those wearing red gathered in our Great Court when a crew from WJRT-TV stopped by for a photo opportunity. Some of the highlights of the day:
- fundraiser - my buddy Pat participated in a committee that sold pins and paper hearts
- food - our cafeteria services folkes dressed our PBD mascot in red and served red foods
- the Great Court atrium was decked out in red
